Mind Tbe Gap

Another wee milestone. Eve's first tooth fell out today. None of the tedious hanging by a thread, too terrified to pull it out malarky. No, just a 'Mum, my tooths just fallen out!' as we were watching street performers belly dancing.

Eve is incredibly chuffed with herself. It is another little step along the being a big girl path and just in time for starting school.

I again feel a little miffed. Not only does she look a bit unkempt but she is quite literally shedding her baby self. It is also a learning curve for us all as we now have to ensure this tooth fairy tradition is upheld to a good standard.

A card has been made in honour of the Tooth Fairy visiting and searching questions have been asked, such as 'can I get a picture of you?' 'What is your name?' and 'what is it like in Fairy land?'' Had better get on it, two sets of childhood lore will be based on what happens tonight.
