Drinker moth

This fine fat caterpillar was munching away on the sedges growing in Roudsea tarn today. It is a beautiful day, and Mrs Osprey is sitting on her nest in the sunshine, hopefully on a full clutch of eggs. The woods are full of birdsong and the bluebells are everywhere. Lovely!
