Pretty in Pink

This is the small but beautiful "Pear Tree Church" which is just around the corner from SiLs house. Two of our nieces got married here and it's where hubs Mum and Dad rest peacefully in its pretty surroundings.

It's especially lovely at this time of year, with all th blossom so SiL suggested it was worth taking a look, a blip in waiting maybe ......I have to say I think she was right, particularly in this evenings sunlight ;-)

We had an easy drive down earlier today, we didn't even take the toll road, it was so quiet! The further south we got, the more the temperature crept up, reaching a healthy 24.5 degrees by the time pulled into their driveway.

We spent a lovely couple of hours sat outside in the sunshine catching up, as we haven't seen each other for a good few months.

We've had a treat this evening, a Chinese takeaway and a couple of glasses of wine whilst watching Leicester City receive the Premiership Trophy, so nice to see, well done to them :-)

Now a night in front of the TV .....whilst talking holidays :-)
