Not Waterloo, but Itchen Sunset

A warm night made for fitful sleeping but we managed to get six hours or so.......woke to blue skies and bright sunshine :-)

Once we were all up, we had breakfast sat outside, before a walk to get the Sunday papers. After a mid morning coffee, we had a light lunch of cheese and crackers, whilst watching the Saints match against Spurs.....a grand outcome too :-)

We took a drive out early evening down to Hamble......it was still lovely and sunny sat on the wharf. We had a drink and something to eat and wiled away a couple of hours :-)

On the way back home we parked the car so I could get some photographs of the Itchen bridge which spans the River Itchen in Southampton, as the sun was going down.

Not long now..........apologies, commenting will be scarce over the next week or so I should think, although I hope to upload something each day, wifi permitting :-)
