Polished
I have cheated the tiniest amount. The New Little Sony actually presented itself as entirely dead on 28th April while I was attempting this shot. I devised the scanner shot with the red ribbon that same evening, but didn't feel like doing all the necessary faffing about with USB connections to the scanner and what have you. Therefore I have shifted the dead Sony shot to the day the camera actually died and am now presenting this smartphone shot of what I had been trying to take with the Sony the previous day.
In fact, the pool had been completely polished the day before, but Spouseman had to backwash the sand filter since he had just replaced all the sand with new clean sand and accidentally backwashed straight into the pool. So the freshly polished pool was covered with wet sand which had to be removed, the pool dried and repolished. Had this not been the case, no doubt I would have discovered the camera's death on the 27th.
