Going Home ...

The original plans for our vacation were from Sunday last to tomorrow but today dawned with rain and we have decided to head home today instead.  We are afraid that if tomorrow is sunny and bright we won’t want to leave!

We did, however, want to enjoy some time here on the Cape this morning despite the rain.  We first drove back to South Cape Beach to say our farewells.  Surprisingly even with the rain there were several people on the beach.  It was cold and damp so we didn’t stay long.

From there we drove to Quashnet River Trail and walked that for a little ways.  R had seen that there was a geocache there and he tried finding it … as it was a micro-cache he was unable to locate it.   My extra was taken along this trail. I have played around with the photo in Topaz Impression to make it look like a beautiful painting that Berelaxed showed us when we visited her.  Hers was so much better!

Before we knew it, it was time to head home.  We returned to the condo to pack up the car and check out.  While checking out we were told we were the third group of people checking out early.  Must be the weather.

We left Mashpee at around 2:20 pm and got back home at 9:30 pm.  And we traveled through six states … Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
