Crazy Climbing

A long but productive day today - down in Bristol to host & present at an Association of British Climbing Walls seminar. The event sold out weeks ago - which has been great as it's left lots of time to focus on getting the content and delivery super sharp, I was really pleased not just with how my sessions went - but also to see existing and new presenters getting great feedback.
As climbing walls have developed and grown into a mature industry so has the range of facilities and activities we offer. With this event we were determined to try a new venue in a different sector. Bloc in Bristol are one of the best bouldering (no ropes, under 4m problems) centres in the UK. But it was their new expansion into fun climbs that caught my blip eye. Clients, mainly children, simply need to clip into the line attached to the safety system (small blue devices at the top) and climb, jump or swing around - as soon as they let go they are gently lowered to the ground. Our workshops were interspersed with excited laughter all day.
