Snowy slopes on Cairngorm

A bright day but with snow showers later

We set off on a trip to the Cairngorms and a stay at Nethy Bridge Hotel, courtesy of a Groupon deal. We stopped at Aviemore and had a trip up the Funicular Railway. It was very sunny at the bottom but by the time we were at the top it started to snow and the clouds descended. Fortunately, I managed to get a few photos before it got too bad.

Back at the bottom, the sun shone again and we had a pleasant drive up to Nethy Bridge. Tomorrow we intend to complete the Cairngorm Circle round to Ballater and Braemar and home. Hopefully the forecast snow will be light.
