Douglas at night

Tuesday 19th April 2016

Hi, Physivic reporting. It was Janet's turn to look after me today.  We upset the coach driver by refusing to go on the excursion.  Instead we went on a lovely little old steam train all the way to Port Erin. It was lovely down on the beach and round the harbour. Janet and Huddsbird then enjoyed an ice cream before walking to Port St Mary.

We went down on the beach and I balanced on some stones as you can see in the extras.  Do you like my sun hat?  It was very warm and sunny,  just right for t-shirts. Then we caught a bus to Castletown,  where we went up Castle Rushen. We got all the way to the top by the flag pole,  as you can see on the other extra.

We got the bus back and went for a walk around Douglas. J and H tried a local beer at a local pub,  the beer was called Castletown and apparently it was very nice,  bears don't drink!

The evening meal was very nice in the hotel but then J and H decided to go for another walk,  after all the walking and climbing steps they had already done,  they must be mad!  I stayed in the hotel room because it is tiring for little bears. They climbed up to the top of Douglas Head and then waited for the sun to go down and the lights to come on.  It was lovely up there but now they are very tired too.
