Falls and falls

Blip told me I had an entry for this day, but it definitely was the day after the Tongoriro Crossing. My camera was set on NZ time I think which is messing things up.

Anyway, we thought we deserved a rest day after out big walk/climb yesterday, which was wonderful despite the crowds, but no. T and A had plans and suggested we take TWO walks. However they were only about 4 or 5 miles each. The morning one was to these pretty falls, and in the afternoon we walked to Silica Rapids, also pretty. It was sunny and warm.

In the evening we went to a very posh / pretentious place called the Chateau for a drink then to its bar for food which was overpriced and not very good. Great company though!
