Art Deco
Today we said goodbye to T and A but we'll see then in a few days when we stay with them in Tauranga.
Mr C wanted to drive the long way to Napier, via Gentle Annie's Road. It was a wet grey day, so the drive was atmospheric.
We had a wonderful Airbnb in Napier up on the hill. It was a self-contained which suited us well. It wasn't really a warm enough day to make the most if the seating on the decking overlooking the pretty garden. We had a walk around town, admiring the beautiful Art Deco buildings. A lot of Napier had been destroyed in the 1939s and rebuilt in the style of that time.
