Unbelievable rainstorms!

I met friends (including dog) in our local park for Maisie to have a bit of a run around and us to have coffee and cake!

As soon as we left to go to the vet (Maisie needed her glands squeezing - yuk) ..  the heavens opened and we had the most persistent torrential rain - which went on for two or three hours.

The garden was like a moat around the house - the pond (which was filled in twenty or more years ago) was overflowing! I've never seen the garden so flooded! The poor foxes were having to paddle to get to their sausages!
