We went to the park this morning - I was determined to find the place where I was told there was often an ad hoc gathering of dog owners letting their dogs have a run around together, and finally I found them. Maisie had a lovely time with four or five other dogs.

In the afternoon we went to visit mum - we arrived just as a service was starting (being led by our lovely ex neighbour, as it happens!) I settled down next to mum - and Maisie was very good, patiently sitting about for twenty minutes or so.

In the afternoon we went to Sunk Island where I saw my first yellow wagtail of the year, on the ever charming poo pile!
