River Ericht, Blairgowrie

Managed a walk along the river this afternoon between showers.  The riverside path was badly damaged and eroded in places by the winter floods, but huge efforts have been made to restore much of it.  There are new bridges and fences and it's a lot safer now.

Lots of birds around, including the one in Extras, which we think is a grey wagtail, but are happy to be corrected.  We also saw a tree creeper which was about a foot away from me, but by the time I'd got the camera to focus on it, it had gone!  Haven't seen one of these for ages and ditto the dipper that flew off as we approached.  So annoying!
