Frogspawn

There was still no improvement with Simba by this morning, so a visit to the vet was arranged for this afternoon.  She couldn't find anything obviously wrong with him, so gave him the usual standby treatment of an antibiotic injection and a painkiller. 

Amazingly, within a couple of hours, he was definitely feeling much better and more like his usual self.  He hasn't eaten anything yet, so we are still keeping an eye on him, but there's a definite improvement.  These injections are magic:-)

There are three separate dollops of frogspawn in our ponds, all at different stages. It's quite fascinating to watch them develop, but wonder how many will make it through?
