Peacock Butterfly

Spotted my first and only butterfly of 2017 today on the aubretia and it was a lovely Peacock.  He just hung around long enough for me to grab the camera and get a quick shot and then he was off into the park, where I couldn't follow him:-)  Must have been shy!

Visited a friend this afternoon who has been quite poorly, so took her daffodils to cheer her up and some dark chocolate too.  She said she felt better immediately!

TJ has been fishing on the Tay all day and for the first time this year has had a really pleasant day for it.  He still didn't catch anything, but at least he didn't freeze:-)
