On beyond
The forecast lived up to expectations today: blue sky and sunshine all day long. We definitely made the most of it by walking the coastal path from Watergate Bay to Constantine Bay - way beyond our usual trip to Bedruthan Steps. Our phones reckon a distance of around 10 miles and our feet certainly feel like that could be true. Bailey did brilliantly with a couple of lie-downs but no carries required.
For most of the way the lighthouse at Trevose Head was visible but we drove the last bit in the van having met up with the surfers on Constantine Bay. We missed them surfing but they waited for us before starting on the picnic. As well as a perfect lighthouse, Trevose Head also provided sightings of seals and an ankle injury for the favourite which we are hoping will be a lot better in the morning.
Back to the bay for our crab linguine tea having been back up the coast path for the sunset. Another glorious day.
