Ponies on Palm Trees

As the horses reward for a romp in the bay,
she was given a sweet tube of hay.

I had a very small window to take a picture. A big storm was coming in. Thunder, lightning, the works. It came sooner than later.

The group of tourists waiting to ride the horses had to be cancelled. The 5 horses had to be loaded quickly. At my next stop, the charter boat captains had to cut their fishing trips short. Then, they had to fillet their catch very quickly.

In the extras, a shot of two pelicans fighting over scraps of fish. They both hang on for minutes, until one makes a move, and rips the piece of fish from the other. Sort of like watching two college wrestlers locked in a headlock...until one shoots the legs.

The slight rain didn't make me stop, but the lightning drove me home.
