Functional

This is the temporary bridge that has recently been opened over the River Eamont at Pooley Bridge. It has been blipped a few times already, as it was such an event when it opened and means so much to so many people. However, I decided I wanted to record it, having a year ago photographed the original bridge.

It looks functional and that is exactly what it is. It works. And it was good today to see so many people walking over and driving over. I just hope the businesses that suffered when Pooley Bridge was cut off are now recovering.
   
And, because we were trying out a new car, we did a round trip and drove over the newly-repaired Eamont Bridge as well.
