Tuesday: Lake Garda

Sirmione is infinitely less touristy today and the weather has been beautiful. We walked along the promenade this morning and also had a good old stroll through the town. We were unaware, until we got here, that Maria Callas had a villa here - we walked past it today. Apparently, this is where she nursed her broken heart after Onassis left her for Jackie Kennedy. There are a lot of references to her around the town.

An early blip today to make the most of the free wifi in the café.
