Easter Sunday

A lovely day of catching up with bits and pieces. It was cold and wet at 8.00am (actually 9.00 am oops) when John decided we should light the fire, he did and the day followed along a similar route of warm feeling

John's efforts to fix the cooker yesterday didn't work, however after some thinking he had another go this morning and yes! It works. He was delighted, well done him!!! I don't intend to use it today just in case it's feeling temperamental. And we managed to get the baking cooked yesterday when visiting friends, a big catchup with John's former apprentice and wife.

Today we have experienced weather of extremes with rain, hail, bright bright sunshine, the solar panels loved it. I moved 3000 plus photos over to the laptop and the iPad is much relieved, it is reacting as it should rather than the sluggish slowness that is likely to drive a body mad.

The extras: this morning after a heavy shower of rain the sun appeared and the light on the trees and raindrops was stunning, sadly I didn't capture it that well, and in the sun the colours around us looked strong, a real feel good factor.
