Deep contemplation by the fire

Not a particularly good day starting off with the oven conking out. The pan of bread cooking was rushed up to C next door and turned out fine despite the interruption of heat and The bumpy job of carrying a very hot cast iron pan up the driveway to another oven. But the baking for a gathering will need to be cooked when we get there. And it rained, poured at times, really miserable and I do so hope you Oban blippers had a great time!!

The cooker is now in pieces, John is determined to try and get it going although we feel a new one will have to be ordered after a few recent failures, a different reason each time. And N our neighbour has a temporary spare if John's attempts are in vain.
