Sleeping beauty

Wedged between a shelf and the radiator.  He has to do a fairly slinky manoeuvre to get in there, but it is clearly worth it.

Did not sleep well at all last night - was about 3am by the time I dropped off.

Dad rang this morning.  Was good to catch up.  It feels like it has been a very long time.

Video call with my brother, Faye and the boys this evening.  Boys were quiet.  wondering how they process the idea of talking to someone who isn't in the room with them.  Actually, that's what teaching feels like some days, so maybe I already know!

Will speak to Mum tomorrow.  

Really trying hard to manage my anxiety.  It's proving to be a difficult task.

In other news, apparently, you can't get a Pink Floyd album on vinyl for less than £50 these days.  James is getting a good, old fashioned record player for his birthday, because he (along with his friends) have realised that there is something really quite different about the sound of music on a record.  Really wanted to get him some Floyd and some Beatles stuff, but short of taking a small mortgage out, that plan might be a bust!!!
