Easter in the Cotswolds?
These eggs are from my papier mache egg collection. Some are from a little shop in a mall in Bahrain. My sister the blipper TMLHereandThere lived there for years, though not in the actual mall! I think they are imported from Kashmir. Such is globalisation that they can now be bought anywhere.
It appears I am going away for Easter, but only a few miles away! I have accepted a house and pet sit in a nearby village. Just for a change, really, just because maybe the only way to be able to read books is to be away from home, without TV and relatively free from onerous tasks, and without a good internet connection.
Of course, it will be a bit of a pain not being able to get on with our own garden, but maybe I can bring the cute dog over to my house if our cat Bomble can be persuaded to stay asleep upstairs. That will depend on the weather. So much does in Springtime.
We had a beautiful morning of den building in some woods. Outdoor play is so invigorating and brings out the best in children! All my favourite childhood memories of play take place out of doors.
