Puddles and Cuddles

Here's the two week old chestnut foal, Emmy, and her grandma Sarah Ann. I visited them at Holme Farm equestrian centre where blipper Cowgirl works. I am visiting Leah and Sav for a short spell before heading off to the Leicestershire village of Appleby Magna for a meeting tomorrow.

This is a terrible shot but it's the only one where Emmy's body language was relaxed. You can't see her beautiful long legs, though. We've had a very active day including attending a 50th birthday tea party and watching England win the Grand Slam of the Six Nations rugby championship. Watching rugby is a very tense affair for me. It looks such a dangerous game, and the bearded blood stained pirate-players so ferocious!
