Mono Monday: London Calling

I made some almond biscuits today, after work. Unbelievably, they turned out looking as good as the photo in the book!

Taking a leaf from my sister TMLHereandThere's book, I thought I'd look out some vintage china to blip with the biscuits. But when I went to the cabinet, I fell in love all again with my London Calling (the Clash) mug with the broken handle! The original album cover image of Joe Strummer and his guitar was shot in black and white. I believe. I didn't have the album but my younger sister did, and there was a time when I knew all the lyrics of the songs by heart.

So this is my 999th blip, showing a smashed mug and, coincidentally, a photo-portrait of a man named Joe. I am so sad about the liquidation of blipfoto. It's been my companion for well over three years now: I was following CleanSteve and TMLHereandThere for ages before I joined as a blipper.
