Gone fishing

We meet up with our cousins G and J today and spent a v pleasant day out fishing (my idea of heaven). We went out of Tauranga harbour, around the Mount and out into the open sea. The fishing wasn't marvellous but we all caught something and had gurnard (a fantastic looking fish with with beautiful coloured wings and an orange/apricot colour) and snapper for supper.
All over the coast of NZ scenes such as in this photo can be seen, old tractors pull the boats down to sea and are left until the fishers return with their catch.
