Pretty Good Friday the 13th

Today our friend Peg got notice from USC that her dissertation has been accepted. That means she is all done! She had it done before graduation back in May, but her advisor requested some revisions. Well those are now completed and accepted. So when I looked at FaceBook mid-afternoon this was the message Peg had posted:

"I just got the best email - 'Congratulations! Your dissertation submission has been accepted by the USC Libraries.' .... WooHoo, I am DONE! I need to get caught up on summer fun!"

I responded in the comment section: "Pretty good Friday the 13th, if you ask me! CONGRATULATIONS!"

Then dozens of other friends commented and lot of friends gave her the thumbs-up!

So I sent her a private message and told her we'd love to join them for the evening celebration if they were not doing a romantic two-some. She sent me a text and we all agreed to meet for dinner. This photo was taken in the parking lot after we ate and we asked a stranger to take Peg's cellphone and grab us a photo. So it's the moment, the memory we were capturing. I apologize for the quality of the photo, but not for posting this fun moment.
