I dunno

The French are usually pretty rubbish at most things (except surrendering and making mucky films), and inventing crazes is no exception. Apparently there's this thing in Paris where people attach padlocks to a bridge to show how much they love someone. Or something. I dunno.
Anyway, people in the UK who love to jump on a bandwagon, have started attaching padlocks to the Millenium Bridge. For some reason. I believe the offspring of the couple who attached the padlock in the first place are supposed to go and find it years down the line and take it off with the keys their parents have given them. Or something. Not if it gets cut off by the council, mater and pater lose the keys or the lock gets rusted to oblivion.
