White on white

Woken up by the rain during the night.......still damp this morning, puddles around the bird bath and the lawn oh sooo boggy, again!!

After we had breakfast we took a drive out to one of the larger M&S outlets as I "need" a new top for a reunion I'm attending on Sunday ;-)
Tried on quite a few, bought two, as you do.....hub mooched whilst I faffed. We bought a couple of things in the food hall then had a coffee before driving home.

This afternoon continued dull and drizzly so no outdoor photography possible......I decided to try and catch up a little with the "A year with my camera" project that I am taking part in. I'd still to do a White on White image, let alone lots of other things :-0

I used this white leatherette pillow and a white tulip, from the bouquet I received for Mothers Day, set against a black cushion. I think it's turned out pretty well, in that you can clearly see the different shades and textures of both whites. I don't think it's over exposed, maybe a tad under........but I'm fairly happy with it.

I've not started dinner tonight yet, but a straight forward one I think........t bone steak with fried onions, jacket potatoe and fresh peas on the menu :-)

Eye hospital visit for youngest tomorrow..... hope all is still ok. He has a visit booked in with the refraction clinic too, to see if they agree with his own optician, in that his current glasses are now too strong, thus causing the blurred vision :-/
