Wind

Best ski day this season! A ferocious wind threatened to close the upper lift at the local resort but didn't thankfully, as the snow conditions were simply perfect. It reminded me of all the things I love about this little gem of a ski resort. After a wonderful morning's skiing and a good healthy Italian pasta lunch it was time to get down the mountain, walk the dog and fit in a short cross-country ski. The wind had started up again in the afternoon so uphill was super energetic!
