Black-headed gull

A lovely crisp and bright day, with a couple of hours free in the afternoon so we went to Figgate park for a quick walk.
Lots of birds, including the visiting mandarin and several wrens singing. This gull, now in full breeding plumage caught my eye - it somehow looks very elegant.
