Leopard Calf
We had a poorly calf brought in by the staff today - it's not a problem many cattle farmers have, however we have at least three resident leopards and every so often they go for a calf. The babies and their mothers spend each and every night in a kraal to protect against leopard .
This chap is quite a big calf, hence being deemed ready to sleep out, sadly not the case. He has some pretty bad neck wounds that have been patched up, but we're not at all sure if he will make it. Time will tell, poor little fellow.
