Dawn light on the Taj Mahal.
Back here again at sunrise, 07:00 hrs, to catch a different light. Not quite as spectacular as it could have been had there not been the mist from the river Yamuna which runs immediately behind the mausoleum.
Our guide wheeched us round a couple of forts and, surprise, surprise, a small factory supposedly owned and worked by descendants of the craftsmen who built the Taj. Beautiful inlay of precious and semi-precious stones into white marble. Horribly expensive. Got the bums rush when we intimated we were not in the market for any of their products.
Off to scout round the bazaars, then off to the pink city, Jaipur, in the morning.
Will post some extras later.
