Hobbies

No wonder Mr T felt at home where we were staying last night with D&K.  D is a long standing friend of Mr. T's, and is a glider pilot, gliding instructor, model airplane enthusiast, musician, jack of all trades and master of many of them and together with K, his lovely partner, they live in a fabulous old manor house which they have both lovingly and back-breakingly  restored over the past few years. Now nearly finished the house is amazing and has plenty of room for lots of hobbies - this room being host to just one of them ....... 
and I grumble about just a very few of Mr T's models hanging from ceilings in our house!!

Dinner last night was an hour's drive away from D&K where we met up with another couple of gliding pals at The Church Inn at Mobberley (Local ales and a candlelit dining room in a rustic 18th century rural inn) very near Manchester Airport  - excellent food, excellent wine, excellent company;  another hour's drive home and a very late night!

It's been a slow day and an early night beckons ....
