Tom is 90 and part of my over 75's portrait project. He had asked me to photograph his hands using a screwdriver. Originally his wish was to include some sparks flying but I might have to add those later in Photoshop!
When I arrived, he had his props all ready and laid out on the table, on a black background. He had included an extra red screwdriver for a bit of added colour. It's good (and unusual) to have a model with such definite ideas.
I converted the photo to mono as I often do, but on reflection ( and because Tom had planned for colour) I think I prefer this version. I've put the mono as an extra and would be interested to know which people prefer...
