Bubbles

We've had a lovely busy day today.

We walked to school this morning and stayed for reading. We were then hurried out of the classroom as the paramedics arrived. This terms theme is doctors and nurses. The ambulance crew came into school to talk to the children. They showed them different equipment and gave them a chance to try on different bits of uniform and medical kit. P's highlight was when they all went outside to hear the siren on the ambulance!

A and I missed all the fun and went to music. His phrase of the day is "what's that mummy?". He must've asked what every single instrument was several times over. We walked home with another music mummy and her little boy the same age as A. Turns out she lives just round the corner and has an older daughter too!

We had lunch and played bubbles. A wanted to do it himself and was concentrating very hard as I was jumping about popping them all. We went to play in the garden once the carpet was a bit soggy. It was warm in the sunshine and A enjoyed rediscovering the slide and Wendy house.

We walked back to school to fetch P and went to the park. When we got home P took herself upstairs to play. After about 10 mins I also went up and saw that my jewellery box was open. I then saw P in the bathroom with my make up bag. She told me she was going to a wedding. She had got changed, put on some bracelets and was trying to apply some eyeshadow!! I couldn't be angry, I just had to laugh!
