Whoever said....

"it's better for him to get it whist he's young" has obviously never looked after a baby with chicken pox! It's not better. Give me an older child with chicken pox any day!

Poor little A has been suffering today. His spots now have spots. On his face, in his ears, in his mouth and some other very unpleasant places. We've been round and round with calpol, Piriton, oat baths, bicarbonate of soda baths, calamine lotion and Virasoothe. Nothing works for any extended time. He's upset, he's itchy and he most definitely won't sleep!

It can only get better tomorrow....
