After the rain.

Better blip this before I fall asleep!

The walk that was supposed to be 7 miles ( and which we thought was going to be easy) turned into about 9 miles, and more strenuous!
Walking from Burnsall to Hebden and back via Dibbles Bridge, didn't seem very far, But we walked from A to B with CDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ inbetween! Or it seemed like that!

This is the river Wharfe taken on our way back. After all the rain it was looking it's best.
The weather was glorious all day. The views amazing. Very very wet in places. Several people ended up in the bogs with boots submerged! Fortunately I managed to stay pretty dry! MrC was splattered up past his knees in mud! (don't know how he manages to get so messy every time!)Everything now in the washer!

A lovely walk but we were all pretty tired by the time we got back , and flopped down outside the pub with a glass of cool shandy.

Should sleep well tonight!
