Begonia
Quick shot taken in the garden between showers.
Although begonias always look quite exotic, they are one of those hardy Summer flowers which seem to survive what ever nature throws at them.
This has had weeks of rain, wind, and a garden full of slugs and snails, and still looks wonderful. It also doesn't mind a shady spot.
Looks bright a cheerful even in the rain.
Also this variety has lovely dark leaves, which shine when wet.
The plant behind is mint, which I use chopped with new potatoes. And lots of butter!
So glad we made the most of yesterdays lovely weather for our walk.
Hope the weekend is better for everyone, and no fetes, or shows are cancelled because of bad weather.
