A 'FAN'tastic Day!

We had a superb meal in the local pub last night that is owned by Mrs BB friend whom she used to work with many years ago. Ross is a top chef (formerly at The Celtic Manor (Wales's Top Hotel?)) and the quality food we ate belied it. I had to be up at 7am for a job in Cardiff, so had little to drink.

Just after 11am I was travelling back to Cardiff with my eldest son to watch the Cardiff City v Brighton match that kicked off at 12.30pm as it was being broadcast on Sky tv. It was pouring with rain, and even moving seats to the back of the stand in the corner, we were drier but felt the occasional spray.

It was a 'FAN'tastic day for Cardiff supporters as we won 4-1. The blip photograph shows Peter Whittingham scoring his second goal, and Cardiffs fourth.

Immediately on getting home it was a hot bath and cuppa. I won't be going out tonight in this weather but enjoying a lasagne and glass of vino as I have Sunday off.
