Diary of an Edinburgher

Back home

We met up with a pal at the Glasgow Virgin Lounge. Easy to get to - we'd sussed it out on the bus yesterday, although it was definitely walkable (for people with working knees). So easy to get around on the buses using the map feature on the iPhone. All free, too!

Coffee and chocolate digestives in the Virgin Lounge - they've cut back on them in the Edinburgh branch. A pleasant and useful hour sorting out E's new iPhone, before we wandered up the street to get the bus home.

I must say, it was lovely to arrive back in Edinburgh. In the sunshine. A quick cup of coffee at home before we went to collect wee Archie. The house was full of dogs! Two Dalmatians had just arrived, to add to the resident Duke, and the visiting Fudge.

It is nice to be back home. Isn't it Archie?

This time next week I will have a refurbished knee!

The Gardens are not looking their best - there will be mud instead of grass there for months still.
Edinburgh city centre is beautiful - every time you return you are reminded of the fact.
Archie and Duke. I did try for all five dogs, but that was impossible!
