The long and winding path

It was very frosty and misty earlier this morning but by the time we had done a couple of chores and got ourselves ready for a long walk, it had cleared, the sun was out and it was surprisingly warm :-)

We headed for Viridor Woods and walked the circuitous route, which afforded us some lovely views across to Winter Hill.

Of all the shots I took, this one of the path we had followed, when we looked back, got both our votes, so much colour for this time of year. You could be fooled into thinking summer......!

After lunch, a very light mugshot soup for me, I went to meet up with daughter, as we had agreed to go swimming again this afternoon.
Hub stayed home of caught up on some of his recorded TV programmes ;-)

Home again now, had a quick shower and hair wash, hate the chlorine smell from the pool, a cup tea whilst uploading my blip, then a quick dinner this evening, before we go off quizzing again! Surely tonight we will be in the top 3!!!
