Walking in the rain...

...today and covering lots more amazing sights. We had bought a carnet of tickets and used the excellent bus service to get us around. We came across a wonderful Sunday market and the smell and displays of fruits, veg, flowers, fish and spices was a real feast for the senses. 

Then on to Le Champs Elysees and to walk its length up to L'Arc de Triomphe.

This evening we all enjoyed a special meal for Valentine's day and celebrated with a couple who became engaged today at the top of the Eiffel Tower! They were very happy to share their excitement with us!! 

After the meal we stopped off at the tower to see it in its night time splendour.
