The Carnethy 5 in the snow

A very chilly afternoon spent marshalling in the ceaseless bucketing snow for the Carnethy 5 hill race in the Pentlands.

I was back at the top of the steep descent to The Howe - a great place to watch for tumbles and bum slides (and this year I was pleased not to have any injuries on my watch!).

Off to the pub with some other marshals & neighbour's for supper and to warm up
