Stunning day in the hills

The sun was out today and after yesterday's snow it was simply stunning out.

We had to go and collect the car from Carlops so went via Monks Rig, Cap Law, Green Law, Spittal Hill and the N.Esk Reservoir - it was deep, knee deep Virgin snow in many places over the hills - was quite an effort but very much worth it.

We had a wee visit from friends in the afternoon and a nice roast dinner to round off the perfect weekend
