Our beautiful car searching for a good cup of 'ros

This morning we left Munar to head for the rainforest region of Periyar. The drive there was stunning?.again lots of tea plantations and beautiful vistas across rolling hills.

We arrived in to Periyar with some welcome sunshine to warm us up (still sporting the flipflops!) and headed out exploring.

We went for a spice tour where Paul enjoyed telling the guide all his newfound knowledge from our last tour (a week or two ago in Zanzibar!) and ended up having dinner in a power cut near the bus station ? which was very nice indeed.
