I got this email from the rescue lady that has little Benji ..

Hello there,

Benji is still with us, He is a very scared little fella when he meets new people and because of that, nobody has felt brave enough to adopt him.

He needs a home that will take him home ignore him and allow him to come to you, Before long he will be your best friend but at the moment he is so attached to me he doesnt let anyone else near him!

If you would like to apply please complete and return the attached pre adoption form.

Kindest Regards

Sarah x

I don't find that at all off putting - I still think he's the perfect match for us!

I filled out the form - exceptionally honestly!

One question was 'where would your dog sleep?'

Well, I didn't really think I could answer that - he's eight - I need to know what he's used to .. then that's what we'll do.

Another question is 'is your garden secure?' No it isn't! I need advice about dog proofing the garden - it's big, and would be impractical to totally dog proof -  and the layout of it makes it extremely tricky to give direct, secure access from the back door to the lawn (my first thought had been to fence off the concrete area around the back door for widdling, but now I'm told lots of dogs don't like to wee on concrete!)

I was looking on Ebay for runs etc - then came across this - I think it's brilliant!

I wouldn't leave him in the garden alone - but this enclosure would not only be good for a widdling area - but is also big enough for me to go in to play with him! I hope the rescue lady thinks it's acceptable?

My photos are a hare and a common/harbour seal I saw this afternoon.
