Flint and chalk
After a slow start we sat in R's kitchen haphazardly running through a few songs and then went out to the studio to record a live session with a small but perfectly formed audience (didn't realise it was a video recording until it was too late to improve my appearance - actually the moment for that passed many years ago). Still, I managed to sing a few harmonies and plunk on the banjo a bit. And it was lovely to see Betty again!
At the end of the session D and I drove northwards as far as a Travelodge near Nottingham, via the most awful excuse for a meal of fish and chips that I have ever encountered. Toddington Services. Avoid it.
