Sheep Studying the Waves

Very stormy yesterday in Orkney so I thought I'd go for the big waves at Birsay today. I got up at five and headed up there on an early bus. The wind and spray made it hard to stand and take photos, many of those I did get were pretty unusable because of the waterdrops on the lens. These sheep are on the Brough of Birsay which is only accessible at low tide. Birds were pretty much keeping out of sight, though I did flush a jack snipe.
